Well it’s all go here at Boatshed Essex this month. With 8 boats sold in August and 8 already set to sell already in October it seems our customers really are making the most out of the late summer sunshine! And why not? With over 90 boats for sale with our brokerage and 2369 throughout the Boatshed site alone, it seems there is still time to cash in on some late season bargains.

Some local news for you, Boatshed are also delighted to announce the completion of the new, luxury Shower & Toilet block by Fambridge Yacht Haven. With Essex weatherboard timber cladding exterior, slate flooring and clean, disabled changing facilities, hot showers, is it now fully functional and already being enjoyed by members and visitors alike! Each cubicle is light and bright and comes fitted with slatted shelving for clothes, a sensible racking system for all your toiletries and sturdy hooks for towels and coats. It also boasts a new laundry facility and external cleaning area for dirty kit and wetsuits. Very Handy! All of which was officially opened yesterday (Thursday 27th October) by the leader of Maldon District Council, Councillor John Archer.

This year also saw the opening of the welcoming and family run Nattajacks Café/Bistro Club. It has licensed bar and provides breakfast, lunch, evening meals and theme nights all year round. Check out Fambridge Yacht Havens website for the up and coming Halloween & Hog Roast party this Saturday!

With 180 berths, fully serviced with power and water, 120 deep water moorings at the Yacht Station, 120metre visitor pontoon and Estuary Sailing and Power Boat training school onsite, it’s no wonder Fambridge Yacht Haven are fast becoming one of the most popular marinas in the area.
