I’ve blogged several times this year about not having enough water in the canal, and now that it’s June I can barely face venturing onto the front deck because the rain is relentless! (I’m writing this on Monday but anything could happen in the next few days!)
Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a truly superb Sovereign 32. The presentation and specification of this yacht is truly outstanding and I challenge anyone stepping onboard not to feel both impressed but also immediately comfortable in the spacious saloon. The vendors have spent a lot of time and money on improvements and updates – all to a very high standard. Most importantly the engine has been replaced with a Nanni (2005) and the teak decks were replaced in 2006. At the same time she was re-wired as well. Please note that this yacht is offered very well equipped and complete with a lot of inventory. The sprayhood shown in the photos is the ‘second sprayhood’ there is also available a No1 included in the sale. Early viewing is recommended. Appointments to view can be booked in advance 6-days a week directly with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Jeanneau Voyage 12.5. This yacht comes from a time when wood was used extensively throughout the interior and the result is a warm and pleasing saloon, with ample light. To aft are two twin berth cabins with their own washbasin. To port is the main heads (with holding tank). All the cabins are large and well appointed making her suitable for long passage making or even a live aboard. She is easy to handle both under power and sail and has plenty of stowage. The standing rigging was renewed by Graeme Harris in 2012 and Garmin GPS 4008 radar chart plotter was installed in 2011/12 Appointments to view can be booked in advance with Paul Singer your Boatshed Dartmouth broker. The yacht is currently at sea so advance bookings to view are being taken for her return.

Over 340 people made the most of the British Marine Federation South West’s “On the Water” ‘Try A Boat Free!’ event which took place in Dartmouth over the Diamond Jubilee weekend. With the holiday celebrations adding to the feel of jubilation, even the weather co-operated, helping to make the two-day event a huge success. In the six hours available each day, the organisers reported up to up to 28 people an hour were getting out on the water, choosing to try lots of different boats from RIBS to sailing yachts, powerboats to classic craft.

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a really very well presented Nicholson 31. The current owner has attended to her with meticulous detail and I would urge you please to look at the photos closely – like all classic beauties she does not look her age. She is wintered ashore every year and this last winter all the anti fouling was removed, hull checked and then copper coated. Early viewing is recommended of this fine example.
